Watercolor classes are taught year round for all levels of student
experience. SEE:
SUPPLY
LIST.
These
classes give beginning students an easier approach to watercolor
painting utilizing a "loose" technique" and a small
palette. They allow intermediate students to experiment with mixed
media using watercolor together with oil pastel, pencil, ink washes
and other tools. They also offer intermediate and advanced painters a
chance to learn this "loose" technique, in which a greater
emphasis is placed on the "flow" of the water and pigment.
Depending on individual skills, students may be working in still life,
landscape, floral and botanical or abstract format and in the process,
learn more technical aspects of watercolor painting as well as
artistic considerations such as color, composition and value.
Come to
San Miguel de Allende and join the numbers of students, both new and
returning, who find the atmosphere inspiring and the classes exciting
in translating experience into composition.
